Best food is at The Royal Lounge. It’s a bar that has great prices drinks and the food is awesome. $1 taco Tuesdays, bacon wrapped shrimp dinners, steak and lobster dinners. So delicious

Thanks for the suggestion, Annette! However, we’re focused only on the businesses in Downtown Covina, which includes Citrus Ave. between Badillo St. and San Bernardino St. and a couple of the small side streets off Citrus.

You are missing out on delicious Mediterranean food if the casual atmosphere makes you skip over Georgie’s Mediterranean, in Downtown Covina, and amazing Ethiopian fare at G.S. Cafe, further north on Citrus. Both restaurants are family owned and operated. Try them, please.

I use to go to Pacino’s Bar (Al’s father’s downtown place) years ago. Also, Finches jewelers. His son Dr. Finch got arrested for murdering his wife in a famous 1960 murder case, and sent to prison. His mistress is the last time I checked still alive, and going to the same hair salon on Barranca. She did time, too as his accomplice. The doc died several years ago. She was a dead ringer for Demi Moore.
